You can permanently delete your SecureFox account at any time. Deletion removes your email, hashed password, device fingerprints, and approximate sign-up country from our database. It does not cancel an active subscription — do that first (see Cancel your subscription).
From the app
- Open Account → Security → Delete account.
- Type the confirmation phrase shown on screen.
- Tap Delete. The deletion runs immediately and you're signed out.
By email
Email hello@securefox.xyz from the address on the account with the subject Delete my account. We confirm the deletion within 7 days.
What happens to the data
Account data is hard-deleted on confirmation. Aggregate node metrics — which were never user-attributable to begin with — remain in our capacity-planning database. Payment records that we are legally required to retain (tax, anti-fraud) are retained for the statutory period and then deleted.
