Lowest latency for gaming / video calls
Smart Location picks the geographically nearest healthy node, so your ping stays low even under VPN.
Hand-picked nodes across regions, health-checked by our agent every minute. The app's location list re-ranks in real time so the suggestion you see is the one you should actually use.
Many providers brag about thousands of locations, then leave half of them overloaded, half of them in the same data centre under different country labels. SecureFox runs fewer, better-placed nodes. Each one is provisioned by our own agent and health-checked continuously — when a server gets slow, the app re-ranks it down before you notice. The 'Smart Location' button in the app picks the server with the best combined score of latency, load, and geographic proximity, refreshed every time the location list opens.
Every server runs the SecureFox agent which reports back CPU, bandwidth, active sessions, and reachability every 30 seconds. The backend aggregates this into a live score, and the client fetches a fresh ranked list every time you open Locations. There's no 'last updated 4 hours ago' snapshot — you always see the current state of the network. New regions are added when latency telemetry shows a coverage gap.

Manual region pick: choose any of our locations to appear to be in that country.
Pin a specific server in your favourites to keep your apparent IP consistent across sessions.
We deliberately don't lead with that number because it's misleading. We run enough nodes to keep load comfortable everywhere we operate, and we add capacity when telemetry shows a region needs more. Check the Locations tab in the app for the current live list.
We track aggregate load (X sessions on Frankfurt-2 right now) for capacity planning. We do not store per-session attribution — there's no 'this account connected to that server at this time' log.
Not as a public-facing exit (capacity planning matters), but the agent is open source and you can deploy it on your own infrastructure for personal use.
The app detects the dead tunnel within ~10 seconds and auto-reconnects to the next-best ranked server in your last-picked region (or whatever Smart Location chose).
