Use SecureFox without an account.

1 GB free every week, no email, no password, no payment. Sign up later to keep your settings and unlock 2 GB.

//01Why this matters

Privacy starts before sign-up.

Most VPNs make you create an account before they'll show you the connect button — and that account is the one piece of data that links your real identity to every session you'll ever have. SecureFox's anonymous mode skips that link entirely: tap 'Continue as guest', get a VPN session, browse 1 GB / week without ever giving us an email. The device alone is your identity, and when the week resets, your quota does too. If you decide to sign up later, your existing settings carry over and your quota doubles.

//02Use cases

When account-less matters.

01

Try before you trust

Get a real VPN session in 10 seconds without giving up an email. If it's not for you, you've shared nothing.

02

Throwaway browsing

Quick lookup that you don't want tied to your name — anonymous mode means there's no name to tie to.

03

Travel with no friction

Lost phone, fresh install, hotel Wi-Fi captive portal — you don't have to remember a password to get protected immediately.

//03What you get

Real VPN, zero footprint.

  • 1 GB of protected browsing every week, free
  • No email, password, or payment required
  • Same protocols, same servers, same protection as paid
  • Sign up later to upgrade to 2 GB — settings and connection history carry over
  • Weekly quota reset every Monday 00:00 UTC
//04Anonymous FAQ

Common questions about guest mode.

Is anonymous mode actually anonymous to SecureFox?+

We don't have your email, name, or any personal info. We know your device exists (via a UUID generated on first launch) and we track aggregate quota use against it. We have no way to tie that device to you the person.

What happens when I hit 1 GB?+

Your connection is suspended until the weekly reset (every Monday 00:00 UTC) or you sign up for an account (which doubles your quota to 2 GB and lets you keep using SecureFox immediately).

Can I use anonymous mode forever?+

Yes. Weekly quota refresh runs automatically. There's no time limit on how long you can be in anonymous mode.

What if I uninstall and reinstall?+

Your device UUID is anchored to a vendor-stable identifier (IDFV on iOS, ANDROID_ID on Android) so reinstall under the same OS user keeps you on the same anonymous account. Factory reset gets you a fresh account.

Will my settings transfer if I sign up?+

Yes — the device UUID matches, so the backend upgrades your existing row in place. Server picks, kill-switch toggle, and connection history all carry over. Your quota resets to a fresh 2 GB on signup.
